However, if you prefer to play male lizard and that might make things weird for you, play as you like. ![]() THIS WILL INVOLVE ROMANCE SPOILERS, BUZZ OFF IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR Look I KNOW it sucks that you can't romance him the same you can with the others, but I still thought his path was pretty great. Its a little more unique with him than the others and tends to make things rather interesting. Ruby 3:22pm The Red Prince romance was pretty good. He can be a little rough at times and might not always say things you like or act in a way that fits what you want, but having a character passively go along with everything you want them to no questions asked isn't all that exciting eh? Also, unless it doesn't appeal to you, I do recommend entangling a little romance into a run with him. Red is a great and well-written character (in my opinion anyway) and makes for a great companion. Don't let the idea of having slightly more control over some details of one questline stop you from playing the party you initially wanted. Have near or exactly 100 relationship on all characters. Dialogue options dont exist for every companion. All their personal quests on Act I and II completed with max +rep. If you want to have a lizard gang roaming the map, go for it. Though there arent as many romance options as fans would like, there are a number in the game including many of the players companions like Fane, Lohse, and the Red Prince. Also in party Sebile, Red Prince and Lohse. You don't want to get 30 hours in and regret your choice. One really important thing though, is to play what appeals most to you. then the next time around you can play as him and experience his story in a completely different way by picking your own choices and tailoring him to what you like. You can take Red alongside your lizard character and be the best of friends. This is the one of the great things about this game though. Don't assume they'll be interchangable all game long. Just keep in mind that once you transition from act one to act two, you'll lose access to the ones not in your party permanently. You'll meet each one on the starter ship and once you get to the island, you can recruit them as you find them. Playing as a custom with an origin in the party gives you less control over their actions, but their stories play out a bit more fitting for their character.Īll the origins will be readily available to you from the beginning of the game. If the companion likes you, you can sometimes influence their choices and change the ultimate outcome of a given scenario.īasically, playing as one allows you to have a bit more control over their story sequences. This might be a mercy thing, this might be a revenge thing it can vary. ![]() In some cases this can be as drastic as having the option to avoid killing an NPC that the origin character as a companion would outright kill.
